Mission

We provide Texas Hold’em Tournaments and League Events for 501(c)3 charities. Florida State Statutes require these tournaments to be done at pari-mutuel locations if the participant receives anything of value as a result of playing the entry fee (donation) type tournament. Our non-profit parent organization is Fund Razors, Inc. which is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization.

Poker Dawgs’ Tournaments will be played at various pari-mutuel locations around the state of Florida. Besides winning cash prizes, participants will be eligible to win other prizes and incentives.  Additional tournament play may also give the participant a chance to win additional prizes by accumulating points throughout the year.

 

 
 


 

 

Upcoming Events

June 09, 2012, Saturday,

Derby Lane. 

Registration and food starts at 5:15pm, Start time is 6 pm.

Entry is allowed up to 7 pm based on seat availability. 

 

Free Poker Training will be available at 4:15-5:15pm day of the tournaments. The Poker training is provided by professional Martin Shapiro. Attendees need not play in the tournament to benefit from the training. April’s training will involve

“Continuation Bet and Telling a Story”.

 

September 22, 2012, Saturday at Derby Lane will be our Poker With A Purpose Multi-Charity event. Registration starts at 5:00 pm. Maximum of 200 players. See tournament rules for more information.
