The majority of the tournaments will have
a $50.00 entry fee for 3500 chips. The first hour will allow players to
obtain re-buys of 1500 chips for $20.00 if they have 1000 chips or less. At
the end of the first hour, every participant will have the opportunity to
obtain one add-on for the $20.00 for 1500 chips. The participant will not
be eligible to obtain re-buys once they are out of chips and leave their
seat. The re-buys/add-ons are what goes to the charity.
For Pokerdawg league play, the charity
gets 75% of the re-buys and add-ons. The other 25% will be carried over to
the end of the year to be used for grand prizes. Every player who
participates in any of our pokerdawg events will be eligible to win one or
more prizes drawn at the end of the league (year).
Blinds will increase at 15 minute increments.
After hour one, we will take a 10-minute break. Additional 5-minute breaks
will be available after each additional hour.
Blinds
begin at 25/50, 50/100, 100/200, 200/400, 300/600, 400/800, 500/1000,
1000,2000, 2000/4000, 3000/6000, 40000/8000, 5000/10000
Grand Prize chance tickets will be
awarded for entry, every re-buy/add-on and making the final table. The top
two finishers of each event will also receive a complimentary re-buy/add-on
to use at a later event. That complimentary re-buy/add-on will also qualify
for as a grand prize ticket.
Prizes and awards will be given to overall top 3 league winners. (Prizes
will also include an award or trophy). The Top Final Table Point Leader
will also receive a $500 gift card.
.Final Table-The Pari-mutuel will pay the
winners cash prizes based on players. Normally 10% of the players will cash
in.
Tampa Bay League: (Benefits Special Olympics Florida)
- 1st Prize will be a 37” Television donated by Buddy
Home Furnishings. Remaining prizes will be announced prior to January
8th.
- 2nd Prize will be a $450-$500 valued item, yet to
be determined.
- 3rd Prize will be a $300 valued item, yet to be
determined.
Grand Prizes to be given away at the Final
Event, December 17, 2010. They include:
A 6-7 day Carnival Caribbean Cruise for two from any of the
Florida Ports offering Carnival and a 2-Night stay at the Sirata Beach
Resort Hotel.
Additional prizes will be given away depending on the amount
of players during the year.
League Points.
Game Participation-15 points. Bonus Points-Up to 10 points for making the
final table. Overall winner will receive 10 points, 2nd place-9 points, 3rd
place-8 points, progressively to 10th place-1 point.
Grand Prize tickets- One ticket awarded to each participant. One ticket
awarded for each re-buy, (remember this is still a fundraiser), and one
ticket for making the final table. All tickets will be placed into the
prize drum at the end of each night. These tickets will be drawn the last
night of the league play, December 17, 2010. You must be present to win.
(You may notified the League Director prior to 7 pm December 17, 2010 and
designate someone in attendance to pick up your prize). Prizes will be
drawn throughout the night, with the last five prizes being drawn after the
top three finishers receive their awards.
100% of the re-buys will go towards Special Olympics Florida. 25% of that
will go towards various prizes for the final Grand Prize Drawing Night on
December 17, 2010.
Additional Incentives
Players can save $10 for
their add-on by pre-registering on-line or by purchasing their add-on at
the door before the event begins
First Time Players will receive a Poker Dawg Mug. With the mug, the player
can get $1.00 beer drafts.
Tenth Time Players will receive a Poker Dawg T-Shirt.
Twentieth Time Players will receive a Complimentary Entry into the December
17th Final Event.

Fundrazors, Inc. is hosting the events to benefit Special Olympics Florida.
Funds and/or grand prizes will be donated and come from 25% of the total
money raised for the above charity. The drawing will be held at the Derby
Lane Poker Room, on December 17, 2010 at approximately 10:00 pm. You or a
pre-approved designee must be present to win. For a complimentary ticket,
send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Poker Dawgs Grand Prize ticket,
P.O.Box 841, Lutz, Florida 33548-0841. The request must include your name,
address and telephone number. The ticket can then be placed in the grand
prize drawing drum on December 17, 2010, before the 10:00pm drawing date.

“Poker with a Purpose” multi-charity and
Individual charity tournaments with only one event date;
Entry Fee is $75.00. Twenty dollars will
go to Derby Lane and Fund Razors, Inc. as administrative fee. That fee will
include the venue, tables, dealers, a drink mug for $1.00 drafts, on-line
registration and a newspaper advertisement prior to the event. The
remaining $55.00 will be divided up between the charity and prize
pool. The charity will determine the
amount. Normally a $39.00 prize pool versus $16.00 charity split is
recommended. The charity will benefit from 100% of the re-buys/add-ons, plus any auction
items that the charity provides, (minus the 3% credit card purchases). Sponsorships and signage can also be done
and/or displayed at the event by the participating charities and sponsors.
